I can't post my photo. It was during the skin-to-skin time right after my c/s. I'm mostly covered by DD's head, but I look like hell and am definitely topless. It was late at night and I was exhausted but happy.
My goal this time around is to get a photo before they take DS out of the operating room during my c/s. DH was too shaky and nervous to do much last time.
After 33 hours of labor, I look like death in those first pictures - which my DH sent to our church and they printed in the newsletter which goes to 1,000+ people. Lovely. So I'll just post one of the first pics I got of DS. It's SO him.
The 1st time I saw her was on my belly & you get a nice shot of where she came out. So yeah not showing that here. lol DH taped that part as well. He kept showing everyone. I finally saw it & was like WTF? Stop showing that. It's showing way more than people need to see of me. not to mention I hadn't shaved in months. YIKES.
I saw her a few moments before this, but I don't have any pictures (only video) of that. This was the first time I really got to hold her after they cleaned her up.
I was shaking too violently to hold him. I didn't see him again for two hours. Seeing everyone hold their babies after vaginal delivery is bringing up old feelings of guilt and regret! Sigh. Maybe next time I can do it the ol' fashioned way.
ETA:My Negative Nellie-ness aside, this picture is making me quite sentimental. Sigh again (but this time in a good way).

We were so excited, that we didnt even remember to take any. When we have our next one, I will be sure to remind DH to take some. We dont even have any of me or DH with the baby at all at the hospital ;0(

Ok, I am NOT posting mine.. I look like a scary monster with side boobage popping out and I am 4560 lbs, but I am in near-tears over here! I can't wait to meet my next little one! Ahh, labor and pregnancy is sooo worth it!

I had a horrible shaking reaction during my c-section too and wasn't able to hold my son for quite some time, so I feel your pain. That part absolutely sucked.
Okay - the first time I saw him was literally when he came out but they whisked him away very quickly because he was in distress... so this picture was taken for me while I was getting stitched up (only a small tear thankfully).

Re: PIP the 1st time you saw your DC
All my pics are at home but I had to tell you that you look way better than I did!! LOL
This is nearly right after I gave birth. They wrapped her up quickly.
She's so healthy now, but this was my first look at her. Still cute, though!

I am lucky my eyes were open! I was up for all most 2 days straight.
I was so out of it! I am lucky I didn't think that my DS was a doll. LOL
I love your pic, tre!
This wasn't literally the first time I saw her, this was about 15 minutes after her birth. My H was so excited he forgot to take pics before that!
First time holding her, doesn't it look like she is smiling at me too?!
I know its graphic but you asked for the FIRST time I saw her.
First glance
First kiss
?
This isn't the very first minute....u don't want to see those.
But this is an hour later.
My heart is MELTING!!!!! I love all of these!!
What a surreal moment.

MOOOOO! (Referring to myself, not anyone else. LOL)
This isn't the first time I saw DS - that was in the OR, and I don't have any of those pics uploaded. But this is the first time I held him.
I am at work and don't have any on my computer.
She stopped crying when they handed her to me. It was so sweet.
Just moments after birth.
Seconds after he was born...warning - there is some blood
This was meeting Liam for the first time:
This was meeting Loch for the first time (yesterday!)

Here is Natalie (not the first time, since those show too much of me) but right after she was cleaned up.
And Lily (again all cleaned up)
Right after my c-section after she got cleaned up.
After my recovery time and she was in the NICU
Such an amazing memory:
ok, my 3rd time trying to post this...
