Out of curiosity, I went back and read the original post to see what it was all about. I didn't realize it, but DH was reading it over my shoulder. He reads it ans says, "Is this woman a moron? Maybe its better for the world that she doesn't get pregnant...."
LOL
You know, we could use a man's perspective around here. I vote for Mr.OhSewCrafty to tell the morons how it is.

Sadly its always those that get KU quickly and without much effort.
my DH actually turned away from WoW and preformed active listening skills (nodding of the head, "uhhuh"'s and eye contact) It was amazing.

Haha! I'm sure he'd love to. We both work with college aged students and have gotten very good at that subtle head shake accompanied by the ever so judging, "Really? No, like...really?" comment. Its quite empowering.
"I wanted you more than you'll ever know, so I sent love to follow wherever you go."

Ugh, I know. I honestly hated it when I was in school. I work in a residential complex, so part of that means I get to talk to students when they violate policy and all that fun stuff. I can safely say I reserve it for the students whose judgment reeeeeally concerns me.
i.e.
"No, I swear I didn't know the drinking age was 21..."
"The police officer is lying! I don't even remember talking to a police officer that night, so how could I tell him how much I drank?!"
"I know my roommate is complaining that I have sex with various men in our room while she's there...she's just jealous!"
I love my job!

Well, I got to a religious institution, thus we have far less of that. I get it because I'm not the good 50's wife or something. However I am well acquainted with your profession from the other end. I got called in to the deans office every semester, and my last semester on campus I got called into the VP of student affairs office. I'm such a bad kid (not)

Its okay, I got into this profession when I got in big trouble for something in college and had to do a project with my resident assistant. Now I supervise resident assistants and graduate assistants. Weird how things work out.
Well, I hope they lay off of you and let you just be you!

That's very true however I'm in weight loss mode. I'm trying to be less heartless cow, more heartless gazelle.
I wont ever do it again if you can tell me what is a better term that is more acceptable! (sorry about that)
