? to bottle feeders about nipple size for 6 month old...

I am a SAHM and pump occasionally to have a stash for when I need to be away for longer than between feedings.  The last time she had a bottle, it was the #1 nipple.  At what point do you move up to a faster flow?

    As long as you BF, don't change nipples.  We tried that, and DS had a fit.  His teacher called us and begged us never to do that again!  DS will never get a faster flow nipple!

    I think it depends on the baby. I found that the slow flow nipples (medela) weren't fast enough even when she was a couple weeks old and moved up to the medium flow right away!

    we moved up to stage 2 dr browns nipples around 4 months. my lo kept eating less and less b/c it was taking him so long he would get frustrated ( my milk comes out fast). it has been much better ever since we switched
