Baby Names

Need a name that goes with DD's

DD is Juliana.  I am only 5w with #2, but I'm already thinking about names!  What do you think goes with Juliana?  I'd like to use Evelyn as FN or MN, because it is a family name, but not sure if I like all of these names with Evelyn as a MN.  Last name is one syllable.  WDYT?

For girls:  Evelyn, Lauren, Charlotte, Abigail, Emilie, Elena, Clara

For boys:  Aaron, Owen, Christian, Sebastian, Ethan (I also like Liam and Callum, but feel it may sound too scottish/irish when we aren't!)

Anxiously awaiting DD #2! EDD 2/5/12

Re: Need a name that goes with DD's

  • We have similar tastes, especially in girl names. I love Juliana and almost all of the girl names you have listed.

I think Abigail Evelyn flows the best, but I like Lauren a lot and think it would sound fine too. Using it as the middle name, I think Evelyn Charlotte or Evelyn Clara sound great.

I love Aaron and Owen on your boy list!

  • IMO some of your names don't go with you DD's because they feel more "old lady" (which is popular now) and though they are lovely names (except I really really dislike Abigail) but I also think these may work:

Loralie, Katarina, Gabrielle, Alyssa, Camelia, Rosalie, Suzette, Thalia, Victoria, Viola, Evangeline, Jocelyn

For boys I really like Sebastian

  • I think all of the names go with Juliana.  The girl names are all femininine like Juliana and the boys names all sound nice with it.

Obviously, I love Evelyn and Charlotte.  And we almost named our Charlotte Clara, so I love that name, too.

I really like the name Aaron.  It's a strong, classic name, but isn't super common.  The only boy name I'm not particularly fond of is Sebastian (although it does sound nice with Juliana).

    Yes

  • I love Abigail, Charlotte and Evelyn in that order.

I love Ethan, Owen, Christian and Aaron in that order.

  • Girls- I Love Charlotte, Evelyn, Emilie and Clara

Boys- My favorites are Christian and Ethan, I also like Liam and Callum- I dont think you have to be Scottish/Irish to pick those names.

  • What about Evelyn Lauren, or Evelyn Claire

Boys... Aaron, Owen and Ethan go well with Juliana

  • Juliana and Abigail/Emilie/Lauren

    Juliana and Christian/Ethan

  • I love the name Evelyn, very classic feminine name. I'm also partial to Lauren (my 7yo DDs name).

    Here are some other suggestions:

    Caroline

    Lila

    Lydia

    Satie

    Sylvie

    Good luck!
