Maybe weird ? but can you return alcohol?

My dh bought a bottle of some flavored vodka for a night out with friends. he didn't end up using it or opening it and will not drink it. he wants me to return it because he is embarrassed (he spent a lot of time talking ot the sales guy about it).

Anyway, can you return alcohol? Might be a weird question but I thought some states have laws againest it?

And yes, I think my dh is being a big baby not returning it himself.

The guy at my liquor store said to me, when undecided about a bottle of wine I was getting, that I could bring it back if I didn't like it.

I would call ahead and ask. I think there are different laws and different rules everywhere.
