We were just talking about this in my office. The most exotic thing I've ever eaten was crocodile (tastes like chicken). One of my co-workers was stationed in South Korea and tried dog ::ralph::
Oh....and I ate a worm once when I was little. I have no idea what it tasted like, I swallowed the entire thing whole.
Re: What's the most exotic/weirdest thing you've ever eaten?
sea urchin? ostrich?
i almost ate horse in italy where it's as normal a pizza topping as pepperoni here, but i couldn't do it.
ok, maybe i'm weird, but i consider escargot and squid "normal."
i eat out too much.
cow tongue, tripe, morcilla (aka blood sausage)... I know gross.
edit : oh and I was over a Persian friend's house and they let me try "sheep brain soup"..
mercury
I'm not even sure what it is...some type of wild game. It was like a steak filet, but I don't think the texture was as good as cow.
blood sausage. I was in Paraguay and was just eating whatever they fed me
It was not good.
