I was 19 when I first had sex (still a teen technically) but I did not want a baby at 19 so I used BC every single time!!! Not that it was that many times...but still.
With DH we used condoms up until I was about 17, then we did a pull-n-pray twice, freaked me out and I went on BC. We didn't use condoms for years, until we had Allie. Then we did for a while, until I went back on BC.
I started having sex at 17 with my high school sweetheart, who became my college sweetheart too. I went on the pill before we had sex and made him use condoms. I was hell bent on not getting pregnant.
ETA: It was a good thing I insisted on the condoms since it turned out he cheated on me all through college. God only knows what types of STDs he could have given me. One of many reasons I will tell any daughters I have to insist a bf use condoms every time.

My mom put me on the pill in 8th grade. So by the time I finally got around to having sex I was already on the pill. However until college I was bad about condoms - but I had the same boyfriend all through high school...even though I found out later on he cheated on me all the time, so not really helpful - that made me use condoms all the time from there on out.
From a very early age, I was told that if I got KU I would become a drain on society like Cousin Kathy (great parenting, mom ). This of course scared the crap out of me....so I used a condom each and every time.

This made me laugh a little. Gotta love parenting scare tactics.

Every single time. Only, this one time we were fooling around a bit to much (not actually having intercourse yet) and he climaxed before he had a condom on.
Let's just say there is a reason my DD is persistant-it's in her DNA.
And why we started having age appropriate sex talks with her very early.
The next talk will include convo about condoms, and that as soon as Mr. Happy is hard, a condom goes on it. You never know when that things gonna erupt.
Also, if she is going to be having sex, she needs to be on the pill for back up. A condom is not enough.
Douchebag (a.k.a. ex-fi) complained royally about using a condom, so we used it pretty sporadically over the 5 years we were together. I was on the pill once I got to college, but I was bad and would miss 1-2 pills per cycle. I'm still amazed at the fact that I didn't get KU.

the funny part is- I am now 28, happily married, have my finances under control (except that DH is laid off right now).
And still worry about becoming a drain on society like Cousin Kathy!!

Dh and I used condoms for the first 6 month of our relationship then I wen on bc and we stopped. But I wasn't very good at remembering to take my bc so I just stopped and we used pull and pray until we got married.
We used condoms everytime except for one. And my period was late after that one time (most likely due to stress, but I didn't know that at the time) so I was convinced I was pregnant. Thankfully I wasn't but I never did that again!
