  Yes...it can make their mouth and throat sore.

  We are dealing with it with our youngest and before we got his meds he couldn't even sleep because his throat was so sore (I could tell by the way he was acting).

  When DS got it our pedi recommended we give DS baby probiotics because thrush can cause stomach pain and problems in addition to mouth/throat pain.
