Diaper Bag Checklist

I am making a checklist for DH and myself for when I return to work next week. I thought maybe you ladies would like to see what I have in my diaper bag in case you are ready to pack yours or want to make some last minute purchases! Good luck...you're almost there!

Diaper Bag Checklist

o   3-4 diapers

o   Wipes in wipe case

o   1-2 changing pads

o   At least one extra outfit

o   Extra onesie

o   Gas drops

o   Bib

o   Burp cloth

o   1-2 pair extra socks

o   Extra hat

o   Dreft stain pen

o   Diaper Rash ointment

o   Travel size baby lotion

o   Travel size baby soap/shampoo

o   3-4 bags for throw-away diapers

o   Hooter Hider

o   4 breast pads

o    Zippered baggie for soiled clothes

o   Extra paci

o   Paci wipes

o   Baby washcloth

o   Hand sanitizer

o   Chapstick for mommy

o   The Mommy Hook

o   Extra sanitary pads for mommy

    OK...Sorry for the codes and stuff above it...I just copied it from Microsoft Word.  I am printing it out for our fridge.

    Oh gosh.. you'll love the Mommie Hook!  It is an amazing tool!  It is a huge - i mean huge! - D-ring clip that is strong enough to hold the diaper bag onto the stroller or wherever you clip it to.

    from experience--you only need 1 changing pad, you really dont need the baby soap/shampoo;  I've had a travel sized baby lotion in mine since DD was born and have never used it (she's almost 21 mos now)

    Just so you know these are not recommended as they can shift the stroller weight and it can tip over.  

    I also never needed baby shampoo/body wash when out, unless that is for at daycare.

    One thing we love are disposable diaper bags (we use the Especially for Baby brand).  They're blue baby-powder scented bags that you use to throw dirty diapers away in.  We only use them when we're out and about but it's nice not to leave poop diapers in the trash wherever we go!
