I am not really doing well. I had half a liter drained yesterday and it helped a little bit, but I was still very uncomfortable. They gave me several bags of IV fluids, took blood, etc. I was vomiting again last night.
Well, this AM I woke up and felt horrible again. I could barely eat or drink anything, and I am extremely nauseous. I can barley walk and can't even move my body to wipe.
My RE called me this AM to see how I felt, and I said not too well. He had me come in ASAP. My mom took the week off to be with me.
I get to the RE this AM, they do blood, give me a lot of IV fluid, and I had the fluid removed again. OVER TWO LITERS! I could not believe it. But, I did feel some relief afterwards. So that was good. I had the surgery done again today with no anesthesia. It is brutal. OMG Tears were streaming down my face and I was moaning the whole time. It took over 30 minutes.?
Then, I had to go to get my arm checked because it started bothering me yesterday. I had THREE blood clots. They are minor, but they are there. I have to get them checked again tomorrow. They are the type that should go away. One is at my wrist and the other two are around my elbow. It is apparently good that they are low. There were three radiologists in the room checking me very carefully.
THEN I had a chest x-ray. Yup- Fluid in both lungs. I had a very serious case of pneumonia back in April, so I know how bad that can be.?
My RE is checking my blood very carefully for bad warning signs, and he said if anything was bad, he would have me to go the hospital.?
My RE spoke to all of those doctors, and they decided I should not go to the hospital because my RE is doing everything and the blood clots and lungs will be checked very carefully. I go back tomorrow morning for another possible fluid removal and IV liquids and I will get my lungs and arm checked again.
I LOVE my RE and the entire staff there. They have been amazing through this whole thing.
I am very scared, though. This is really frightening. I am just praying to be okay and that everything gets better soon.?
Please send me lots of thoughts and prayers. Thanks, girls. ?
