OMG - I feel SO old

I was lurking on another board and a girl who's TTC has a siggy memorial to her mom who passed away.  This girls MOM was born the same year as me.

    Yikes. I never thought about it like that. If I had gotten pregnant right out of high school, I could have an almost twenty year old.

    Yep, I know several girls who are TTC whose mother I could be.  Ugh - so depressing.

    Whoa. She must have had her daughter when she hit puberty. ; )
    Beautiful Miracle Baby lost at 21 weeks due to pre-term labor and incompetent cervix. FET#1 BFN, FET#2 BFP, early loss. FET#3 BFN. IVF#2 BFFN.     Think of it this way...at least we were able to enjoy our 20s and for many of us, we've enjoyed most of our 30s.  Even knowing what I know now about IF, I don't think that I would have tried to get pg in my 20s.  In my early 30s, maybe.  But I think I'll keep my 20s just the way I had them!

    Don't feel too bad.  That just means her mom had her when she was uber young.  My sister had her first kid at 18 and my younger brother is 5 years younger than her.  Just a few weeks ago I realized that it is ENTIRELY possible that my sister could have a grandkid before my brother has a child.

    Ugh, I hear you Monty - we just hired an intern who was born in 1990.

    1990! HOW could you be old enough to be in college and have a job?! When did this happen?!

    I have a friend who is a grandmother as well.  And many FB friends who have kids graduating hs now.  Sigh.

    Sometimes it makes me sad, but then I realize I was in no way ready to have kids in my 20's, and I didn't even meet DH until 33 - and I wouldn't have it any other way.  :-)

    We just all better become moms ourselves soon!

    DH's best friend got a girl pregnant when he was 15.  His daughter is going to be 23 this year!  His wife will be 31 in a couple of months. He's got an 18-month old baby & a 28-month old GRANDSON!
