Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Thanks, I think for my MIL vent!

LOL...thanks to those of you who offered some advice, and no thanks to those of you who were simply unhelpful in your responses.

I love my mom and MIL, so I feel sorry for the one girl who commented otherwise.

I will go spend time with DS instead of posting on this ridiculous website for people's opinions I really don't care about! LOL

  • Blah, blah, blah. This is always what people say when they don't like what people tell them. The nice thing about message boards is at least people tell you the truth

And, no, I don't get along well with my MIL, but she's the only Grandma my girls have (my mom died when I was 19), so I suck it up and make a very good effort. She adores my kids and that's what matters. Feel sorry for me if you want, but I don't feel sorry for myself.

  • Welcome to the internet.  You'll hear lots of stuff you don't like.  I got called a 12 year old uneducated douche the other day...life goes on.  There are good and helpful times too.  If you don't want to hear the bad, then I agree you shouldn't post here anymore.
  • I'm sure everyone is upset that you took your ball and bat and went home!

  • I just read your previous post about your mother in law. Maybe just have DH talk to her about her house being dirty in private so as not to embarrass her. DH doesnt want his mom babysitting DD (alot of issues there) and she kept getting pissy we wouldnt ask her to babysit (We would make stupid excuses) Finally, he just had a conversation with her and was just honest and said I dont feel comfortable with you babysitting because of X, Y, Z. I think honesty is the best policy.
