DD has been going to daycare for 2 weeks and she isn't napping very well yet. (She'll take several short naps, but no long ones). She's completely exhausted by the end of the day. We've asked daycare to start swaddling, but I'm not sure that it helps much with all of the noise in the room.
If your LO struggled with naps, did it eventually get better?
Any tips?
Re: Does your LO nap at daycare?
we're about to start week 3 of daycare, but he only goes twice a week, and with the new year's & MLK holidays has only gone one of those days for 2 weeks, so we're hoping he'll start getting settled in now.
the ladies there swear that he'll get used to it & start napping better....we'll see.
DS has been in daycare since he was 8 weeks. he takes, at most 3 30 minute naps a day. It was rough the first couple weeks, but then a routine started to develop and its great!
He comes home with DH around 3:30, gets an hour of daddy and me time till i get home, then takes a nap while we get dinner ready, eats, plays, bath, and back to bed for the whole night. up again at 6:30 or 7 to start all over again.
your LO will get used to it, and either learn to sleep through it, or adjust to a different sleep schedule.
