I am pretty sure that my cycle is going to be cancelled Thursday due to my hormones not cooperating. I'm still at my baseline u/s & b/w. What typically happens? I've already been on lupron for 10 days. I know I will stop the injections, but then what happens?

Re: What happens when your cycle is cancelled?
Ugh- I'm sorry.
I hope it's not cancelled. Come on hormones- cooperate!
If it is cancelled, I hope they can adjust/change medications so you respond and you are still eligible for the study. Fingers crossed.
I don't know much about a canceled cycle but can they adjust the meds you are on to help with the problem?
hopefully they can fix this and you won't have to cancel!!
good luck!
This will be my third baseline on Thursday. If my E2 isn't under 50 my cycle will be cancelled. It was 97 yesterday so I am not confident.
As for the study, I am not sure. I am waiting to get a call back from my coordinator.
My last canceled cycle I was on Menopur. They placed me on BCP's to try and shrink down my cysts. After that was a scheduled hysteroscopy/polypectomy and then they forced a CD1 after completion of the BCP's.
Totally different situation, but that was my experience with my first cancelled cycle. Hopefully yours isn't!
