I feel so much worse today. I've been vomiting this morning. I am going in at 11:30 for the fluid tap. I am having a hard time standing. He told me not to eat or drink because they may put me under anesthesia.?I'm sure I won't have a 5 day transfer. I really need my body to rest and recover and I worry about this happening again. My RE said he will drain it, but it may come back. ?I am so upset. I know nothing about FETs, and I don't even know if I can get OHSS from them. I will have a lot of questions when I get back.?Wish me luck. ?

Good luck today. You will feel so much better once you have the fluid removed...it might not last a long time, but the releif is worth it. I hope you feel better.
Since you don't stim with an FET, you can't get OHSS from it.

I am sorry this is happening to you I have known several gals on here that have had to have this done and they feel so much better afterwards!!!
FWIW, I know an RE that only does FET's, for this reason... He does not want to risk OHSS in his patients, so he lets them have a month off to recover!!! I think it is a good thing for you
I hope you feel better soon! And if your 5dt gets cancelled, that would suck, yes, but- just think - your body will be all recovered and healthy and ready to go for your FET.
I feel so bad for you- it sounds scary and painful. I hope you find immediate relief after you are tapped. AND I hope this just goes down as a story that you will be telling your kid one day. ;-)

Seriously though- feel better soon! Can't wait for your update.
I hope the draining helps and you get immediate relief afterwards.

Re: Going in 3 hours for fluid tap
Feel better soon! I am so sorry you are dealing with this :-(
Oh I'm so sorry. I've never had OHSS but it seems absolutely awful! I hope you feel better once they drain some of the fluid!
(FWIW, you won't be getting OHSS with your FET - I promise!)
