We have Pergo...any advice? I have heard of Vinegar and water; does anyone do this? If so, what mixture do you use, and does it really work? Thanks so much
I swiffer my hardwoods then wash once a month with diluted Boma hardwood cleaner. I used to wash more often until I was told that washing too often can take the finish off... which happened to my aunt.
You can use vinegar and water or Windex heavily diluted with water.
We either use vinegar and water (half and half) spray it and mop it up or the Method hardwood floor cleaner. I hardly ever buy cleaning supplies, but I love the almond smell. Both work well.
Re: How do you clean your floors? Help please :)
We vacuum our hardwoods and linoleum, then go over with a microfiber cloth and either vinegar/water (50/50) or heavily diluted Dr. Bronner's soaps.

1 part white vinegar to 1 part warm water. Put it in a spray bottle, spray and wipe with a cloth or paper towels. It works great.
ETA: yes, after you sweep and vacuum
