I didn't want either of those for DS' christening. He was just in a white cableknit one-piece from Koala Baby (BRU). It was perfectly simple.

here's my little girl!...oops, I mean boy! We are Catholic, so it is pretty standard to wear a gown. DS is wearing DH's gown. I was raised Protestant and if it had been a non-catholic ceremony I probably would have done a little white pants/shorts outfit
I'm Catholic and my little guy wore a gorgeous white gown and under it he had a little one-piece (bubble?) that he wore at the lunch following the baptism. He wore tights and a little cap too. (dh did not love this but oh well). The bubble alone would have been OK but I wanted to have the gown so we could use the same one for future kids. There were 2 other boys baptized at the same time, one had a gown and the other had a little pants outfit (not a suit though).
Re: What do baby boys where for their Christening?
