If you give your baby a bath in the real bathtub.... how do you clean your tub? My DS has very sensitive skin, so I'm afraid whatever I'm using is not helping his skin..... but at the same time, I want it to be clean!
I use Seventh Generation bathroom cleaner. Totally natural. Nothing that can hurt my baby. If I need to get it EXTRA clean I use a cap full of peroxide to kill any bacteria (much safer than bleach.)
I use peroxide for everything! I got the idea from a health magazine. It is so much safer than bleach and does the same thing. I even use it in my white loads instead of bleach and it gets things clean and white without harsh chemicals. (1/4 cup in the wash.)
Try using baking soda and a lemon - cut the lemon in half and dip it into baking soda, and then use the lemon as a sponge. It works like a charm, is totally natural and safe, and had my tub sparkling!
I make our household cleaners. For the bathroom I use a spray of baking soda, vinegar, water and dish soap. For grout in the tub I make a paste with the same ingredients except the water. Like PP said, you can add lemon too.
