I think my temps are suspicious

Good morning ladies! So this is my first month temping and I'm on CD 14. My Target BBT has given me 97.33 three times and 97.18 four times. The weird part is, if I take my temp at random other times during the day it's always something different. I find it hard to believe my waking temp is that consistent though. What do you think?

    Some ladies just have really consistent temps.  If you take your temp other times during the day and get something different, I think your BBT is fine.

    That is a little odd, but they aren't all in a row, so there is still some variance day to day.  I wouldn't worry about it.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    What kind of BBT do you have?  I had some trouble like that with the Target BBT and I know there are some other ladies on this board that have too.
    DS1 ~ BFP - 1/29/10  EDD 10/9/10  Born 9/27/10!
    DS2 ~ BFP - 8/26/13  EDD 5/8/14  Born 5/1/2014!

    I had 3 consecutive identical temps this cycle, but tested by BBT out at different times during the day, and it seems to be working fine. I think some of us do just have really consistent temps every now and then.

    Mine is from Target also and it's a BBT that measures to the hundreth. It's pink also...

    Yup, that's the BBT right there.  If you like it, stick with it, but I have the CVS one now and I love it!

    Yup, that's the BBT right there.  If you like it, stick with it, but I have the CVS one now and I love it!

     

     

    Ohh thanks for the suggestion. It's always seemed kind of basic to me, but I wasn't sure.

    My chart has been known to have a love affair with 97.18. I suspected that my thermometer was broken for awhile, but temped at different times of day like you did--and always got a different temp.

    Who knows? Maybe our bodies just dig that temp.
