I am jealous of people having babies

I want my LO soon not in the 4 weeks it could take. ::stomps feet throws self on floor to throw fit::

Re: I am jealous of people having babies

  • I'm totally going to join in your temper tantrum...even though I'm not ready at all. I still have to do laundry, clean my house, and pack my hospital bag. I need one more weekend...

  • Can I join your tantrum?  I want my baby now too!
  • Me too. A friend of mine went into labor today and I couldn't help but be jealous. =/

    Me, too! ?Me, too!?

  • I'm not even close but I want my baby too. Of course I will let her stay put until sheis healthy enought to come out. But can't I just take her out see her and put her back...

  • I shall join in too!!  I agree about the next weekend comment-sounds like a good time to have a baby.
  • Well at least I have company on the floor kicking and screaming now!

I told DH wouldn't it be great if I went into labor next weekend and we didn't have to go help your mom move?! He said I was mean!

OH MY GOSH. You're still pregnant?! When are you getting induced?

And I want my baby too!! I've gone to L&D twice with contractions 5 min apart and been sent home because I'm not making any progress past 3 cm and my water hasn't broken. Ughhhh.

  • Overdue mama over here and couldn't agree more...so ready!!

?LOL yes I'm STILL pregnant. ?My induction is Tuesday morning and I can't wait. ?The funniest thing is when I log into the Bump, it tells me that my baby's birthday is in 352 days. ? Grrrr!!! ?

    ?

  • Maybe the move will put you into labor :) I'm so over being pregnant, but I'm NOWHERE near ready to have a baby... I don't know where I'm going to find the energy to get everything done, my whole body is sore and I can't bend over well for cleaning... I'm a mess!

  • I went to a kid's birthday party today. The only thing that kept me out of the bounce house was knowing that my house isn't ready to bring a baby home to. Otherwise I'd have been jumping around with the 2 year olds, lol
  • I'm joining in this tantrum too!  One of my friends is at the hospital and having contractions as I type this.  She was induced on Friday and has had a really difficult pregnancy, but I can't help be jealous that she is going to have an outside baby soon.

    It's SO not fair!!!

  • I'm joining the group temper tantrum!  :)  I could use one more weekend, so I can pack my hospital bag, install the carseat and get it inspected, and do some cleaning, but then I'm ready to have an outside baby!

Don't worry I tire out super fast lately!

  • I was excited just to be able to feel a few contractions tonight at the hockey game.  I guess I should walk up and down stairs more often because that seemed to do the trick.

I know...me either.  =(  And it sucks even more that my vaginal delivery was awesome.  It was the most amazing experience of my life and this time I am having freaking surgery.  Good thing I am DONE after this kid comes out.

I am so excited to finally hold her!!!!  However, I am sick to my stomach about the c-section, wishing it had just happened on last Monday.  I am 100x more nervous now.

Yeah I don't blame you for being done but it can't be too bad because my mom had 7 of them on PURPOSE!

To be quite honest, I rather have my stitches on my bikini line than my vaginal area.

I'm not going to lie, the recovery with a c/s sucked and my site got infected. My down there is completely intact and so sexy time doesn't hurt for me. My worst fear was an tear or something and my only constellation with the c/s was that wasn't going to happen.

Why are they doing the c-section anyway? Is it because of the IUGR?

Yes, that is one reason.  She doesn't ever perform well on NST, so we are under the impression that she might not be strong enough to endure labor and I labored for 32 hours with Olivia.  Typically IUGR babies have a harder time with labor.

The other reason is my velamentous cord insertion.  My placenta is bi-lobed and connected by a thin piece of membrane.  My cord is attached at the membrane, of all freaking places!  And a woman that went through an induction in my office this past year experienced the cord breaking off (she also had velamentous insertion) and it only took them 8 mins to get the baby out, from rushing her to the OR and cutting baby out...the baby bled out and died.  So knowing that is a risk just freaks me out.  At one point I thought I would just do the induction at 36-37 weeks (past that, the still birth possibilities go up due to the cord issue and IUGR)....but then my dr told me they can't promise me that if the cord breaks, they could get her out on time.

So, after all I have done to ensure her safety, I can't justify an induction...especially after knowing what they just experienced in my office.  And EVERYONE in the hospital knows about it and has mentioned it to me during my many admissions.

Just now starting to scab over. Still haven't gotten approval to even do cardio (my OB still wants me on modified bed rest to heal until Tues). It sucks but I don't know if I want to VBAC next time.
