Someone posted about this yesterday and I just wanted to continue to get the word out.

Click this link to see how you can donate to an orphanage in Haiti. It has a lsit of things they need and don't need. If you have any extras of the things they need of if you just pick up a few extra things while grocery shopping, please send it their way.

You may want to double check that they are still operating and accepting donations right now. A lot of organizations are not accepting donations except money because there is no economical way for items to get there. Money is really what is needed.

I have checked and they are. They are asking for a separate donation of a check to cover the cost of shipping...$1 per pound...if you send a package...so I am doing both. But thanks for the heads up as this is true for other organizations if others are looking into that. This organization is also taking monetary donations if you are interested.

I gave my donation to Partners in Health a few days ago. Meryl Streep just plugged them on the golden globes. Its a great organization if anyone is interested.

Thanks for the info. I have already donated, but will send a box tomorrow with wipes, a pack of diapers DD has out grown, and some sample cans of formula.
