Remedy for chaffed hand?

Aubriana has a combo of teething, finding her hands, and going into her oral fixation stage and has not given her poor hand a rest! It is becoming chaffed and red, so I'm wondering what you have used that would be safe for baby to ingest and that heals dry skin, as she's surely going to put the hand back into her mouth... She's not into chewing on objects yet, so until then, we need a solution! Poor pumpkin's hand is so dry!

    I'm sorry I don't have solution, but I was wondering the same thing!! DD has started teething I think, she's drooling a lot more, and she's chewing on her toys as well as her fingers. She has her index fingers on both hands red and the skin is dry. I was wondering if there was anything you could put on them also!

    I've been using a small dab of Vaseline.

    I've been using lanisol.  I figured since it's safe for baby to ingest, and it helps heal chapped nipples, it would work on little fingers too.

    Ditto, the lanolin for bf'ing. It has worked really well.
