Crib mattresses

I am currently researching crib mattresses and wanted to get some feedback from other moms. Do you use foam or coil? Any favorite brands? Best place in the city to buy mattresses?

    We have coil ones from BRU. I think they are one of the cheapest ones they sell, but when having to buy two of everything you can't always get the best. My girls have always slept very well on them and seem to be just fine on their cheapo mattresses.

    I am pretty sure Sammie's is coil...I think! Shows how much I remember now! :) I do know that it wasn't a super expensive mattress. We haven't had any issues with it.

    My grandparents built me a bassinette.  It is beautiful, but I have no idea where to get a mattress.  Any thoughts?
