NBR: Craigslist=LOVE!!!!

I got two used cars for under $3000! We got a '98 Chevy Malibu for myself as the family car, which is in AMAZING condition with low miles for $1,100 and for my DH we found a '96 Mitsubishi Eclipse with a sound system, in dash DVD player, and LAMBO doors for $1,500 (the kid needed the money for tuition so we got a steal) I'm so excited! I wanted a new car but it was not in the budget right now. Yay! So you actually can find great deals on craigslist!!

    Awesome!!!  I'm such a wiener when it comes to buying cars.  So happy you guys could fit two new cars in the budget though!

    No problem! It took us a few weeks to find the best cars for us (I'm very picky) So check like a couple times a day because people are ALWAYS posting more cars on there! Good luck to you!

    Awesome!!! We're looking for a car for DH right now. A '99 for $1700. Right now we're trying to find the family member we can loan it from since we don't have it at all.
