Try ginger ale, and citrus fruit helped me out a ton...my doc told me it was okay to take Emetrol...but check with your doc, I am sure there are better things than drugs for your child...

Yes, there are tons of women out there who m/c, some of them because they are so m/s that they lose the baby. I personally know a woman who m/c multiple times because she had horrible m/s. Back then, they couldn't do much to help her. Now there are tons of things from OTC stuff to RX stuff. Now I'm not saying I would do drugs for the run of the mill m/s, but if someone has m/c multiple times, and there are no drugs that help, why not try it? The only difference between the drugs the Dr. prescribes and pot, is that one is legal and one is only legal sometimes! Besides, if you wait long enough, some woman will write a post about how she had to take a Class C or Class D drug while prego. If the mommy isn't healthy, the baby has little hope!

Have you checked out hyperemesis.org? I think the women there understand a bit more. I just laugh when I see all the m/s suggestions. I mean I couldn't hold down a sip of water and you want me to eat a f'n cracker? I ended up on home IV's and lost a lot of weight with both my pregnancies. I ended up on zofran this time. It helps but it's not a cure all. I hate taking anything. I don't even take Tylenol when I have a headache. But I would be on bedrest in the hospital if I took nothing, and if I refused meds there I would be dead. I don't think some people understand the severity of morning sickness for some women. Please talk to you're Dr.

Hyperemesis is nothing to kid about. It is not "jsut morning sickness" that you can suck up. I honestly though I was on Death's door. Preggie pops... yeah right. I threw up water if I tried it. And this went on past the first trimester.

That being said.... there are other options. I am on a Zofran pump. It has helped.. talk to your Dr.

I wonder how many people on the bump have used pot during their pregnancy? And hasn't said anything to avoid flames( i don't blame you if you have , that bumpie would never hear the end of it)

That's why I originally was trying to do a Clicky Poll because I figured the same thing. The Clicky Poll just wasn't working for some reason though.

THIS! and I have really bad hyperemesis. I've spent days in the hospital, lost over 16 pounds, taken zofran, reglan, b6, had an IV at my house for 5 weeks with it hooked up 24/7. The nurses couldn't find my veins and had to poke me over and over because I was so dehydrated and I would still never ever take pot to get rid of the sickness. SO I do know what it is like and I'm on my second pregnancy with this. I think it's digusting that anyone would consider marijuana while pregnant no matter how sick you are.
