DS hated the car for MONTHS until I discovered that the sun sometimes reflects off the spoiler and shines in his eyes. Who would have known??? I spent $5 on window tint film at Target and he loves the car now.
Same here. We ended up changing to our convertible carseat. DD is a little bit on the bigger side so we could switch early. She seems happier since we switched.
We had the same issue so our pedi gave us the go ahead to put him in a convertible car seat and he LOVES it! I put his "my pal scout" back there with him and he has a blast.

My little guy is great until the car stops - then he screams bloody murder. It's so bad somtimes that I will take further routes places just to avoid red lights.

This.
The drive-thru at Wendy's was ridiculously slow tonight. So of course J is screaming at the top of his lungs. The 15yo asked me why my baby was so upset. I considered telling him it was b/c it was taking 15min for me to get a medium coke & grilled chicken caesar salad but decided it probably wasn't in my food's best interest. So instead I said "oh it's because I won't get him a happy meal". The kid's response? "Oh yeah, kid's like them."
Didn't you just post about this in a different thread or am I losing it again?
Probably. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if I did, although I don't remember. I'm turning into my grandmother---she told me the exact same thing three times the other day.
