If you saw my PP, I've been having contractions averaging about 7-8 minutes apart. I called L&D they said to try and wait it out, but to come in if water broke, 3-5 minutes apart or there's a lot of pressure. Well when is pressure an issue? I get up sometimes and have a ridiculous amount of pressure. Sometimes during my contractions I feel like I may have to poop. I don't feel the urge to push, I don't think...but when do I need to be concerned with the pressure situation? Lol. I hope this makes sense.
Re: when is it too much?
Yeah, they're still coming. Still about 7-9 minutes apart. I just went to the bathroom, drinking lots of water. Walked around, now I'm sitting in bed. Figure I should try to get some sleep just in case. Lol.
Yep. She said to try and stick it out at home until contractions are 3-5 minutes apart, water breaks or I feel pressure like LO is coming out, which is what I'm confused about. Lol
I would prob try to hold out until the contrax become too painful to bear.. closer in time, or water breaks. It's hard to gauge what is "too much" pressure.
I hope this is it for you!! But, I am jealous if it is
Ok, this worries me more. Lol I had this EXACT thing this morning when I went pee. I just told the L&D nurse this too, I said I've been having brown/pink discharge or something when I wipe all day too. She said to wait it out, but I'm welcome to come in if I'm really concerned.
They're pretty consistent pain wise, but it seems like some contractions last longer than others. I just had 3 in a row that were 5 minutes apart, strong, but didn't last more than 30 seconds.
Yeah for baby time! ?:)
The urge to push is unlike any other pressure you've felt. ?When I had that feeling, I KNEW it was time. ?Have you tried a warm shower? ?
Good luck! You're going to be a momma soon. ?
