PP bleeding and "not so fresh" feeling

I know every woman is different, but just wondering how long your post partum bleeding lasted? I have never bled heavily -- kind of like a light period day -- but I can not remember from my first delivery how long it typically lasts.

And I just hate pads. I'm able to get a shower in daily, but by later in the day, I just feel kind of gross. Are you allowed to use FDS spray or anything to help feel a little"fresher?" (I had a 2nd degree tear -- which is no longer painful, and hemmorhoids, if that makes a difference.)

I only bled for a week and 3-4 days. I still have discharge and don't feel very fresh!

I bled for 3 weeks. Had 3 weeks of nothing. Got my period at 6 weeks, and now I've gotten my second one at 10 weeks. So not enjoying the "not so fresh" feeling!

I only bled for the first week but then had about 3 weeks worth of nasty discharge. I would take sitz baths twice a day and it helped with the feeling of not so freshness.

You just described me. I hate pads, but I bled so badly I didn't have a choice. My hemorrhoids hurt so bad that I had to shower after every poop. Showering was the only way I felt fresh.

Still bleeding here so no help on the 'when it stops' but I have been using the Cottonelle Wet Wipes....It helps me feel less gross throughout the day...I change pads every time I use the bathroom and in between if I feel extra gross and I use the wipes every time too.... (and if you are out and about they have them in travel packs too although I bet you could use a baby wipe if need be too...)
