To those of you who had a hel#ish first tri..when did you join the living world again? Between the m/s and the exhaustion, I am such a slug. My first pg was not this bad at all, so just wondering when it got better for you.
My 1st tri misery hasn't ended. Just had my 16 week appt, got a new zofran prescrip (anyone else freak out when they're down to their last 2 pills?). Still have the acne, the fatigue, the pregnancy insomnia, food aversions, bloat, constipation. And I hate when people tell me EVERY WEEK... "oh, I'm sure you'll feel great in another week or so." Grrrrrrrr.

thanks
I'm still waiting.....it's certainly gotten better (probably the beginning of week 16) but I still randomly throw up, I have near constant nausea, and still fatigued.
I magically thought everything would get better as soon as I jumped into second tri...and of course it didn't!! I didn't start to feel better until around 18 weeks or so but you'll get there!!!
Re: when did your 1st tri misery end?
Not until 14 weeks...which sucked because I kept thinking 12 weeks would be that magic number!
I'm almost 17 weeks, and I feel just as awful as I did at 7.
Sorry to disappoint.
I'm still taking Zofran 3x a day, still mostly exhausted, still have serious food aversions, still have trouble pooping...
nothing has changed.

I would say around week 15 or 16. It was horrible, I am not sure how I even made it thru work. When I got home I went straight to bed.
I still get the m/s every now and then but the zofran helps ALOT.
I do have the ever lasting exhaustion.......

Me too, this is horrible. basically they are saying... you're in it for 9 mos.

Around 16 weeks. That's when the 2nd tri misery began. LOL
My BFP Chart
LOL, and dare I ask, what is that like for you?
More peeing, more constipation, more gas, sore back, sadly, more acne. But less nausea and food aversions...yay!
My BFP Chart
I felt better aorund 16 weeks with my second and now I am not as tired (at 11 weeks) but still very nauseous!
It's just harder the second (third) time around because we have a child to care for! GOOD LUCK!

The sickies went away at about 14 weeks and the super, super tired went away at 18 weeks.
I thought I would feel like doing the ironman but I am still tired at the end of the day. I didn't make it to 8pm last night.
