I work on a college campus and these kiddos {yes, they are babies considering that my freshmen class was 5 when I graduated from high school! And I just turned 30!} look at me like I have some sort of contagious disease when they see my belly. Not only that, but I look like I could be a student that got knocked up at the local frat house.
With DS, I got a ring as soon as my wedding rings didn't fit anymore {basically as soon as it started getting warm outside!} What are your plans?

ditto this.......
I voted "I'm too special" since SO & I aren't married or engaged. No rings here.
If I did have a wedding or e-ring, I'd more than likely buy a cheap set.
I know exactly what you mean! I work at a university too. They do look at me strange!
I think i will because it is important to me that people know I am married. I know its probably silly and people don't give that much thought to it but to me it matters!
I bought a super cheap sterling silver band from Walmart when my rings stopped fitting with DD. I'll wear that when my rings stop fitting this time.
I look young also so when I'm out, I like people to know that I'm not some knocked-up teen. Plus, now that I have DD, I want them to realize that there is an established baby daddy.

I bought a fake band from JCP for $20 last time, lol. I was already in the fake ring by this point last time too. My ring fits great now so maybe it will continue to fit.
I have 3 LO's already and I do not want people looking at me all crazy when I am out with no ring, 3 LO's and knocked up again. I live in an area where there are lots of people like that
I am a knocked up student. It's...fun. I am not married but engaged so I guess I wont need a fake ring.
Just an FYI - you don't want to keep resizing your rings. It will make the metal weaker.
This. My e-ring did stop fitting but it was almost a full size smaller than my wedding band. I've since had my e-ring sized to the same size as my wedding band so it shouldn't be a problem.
I love the last option! I'm still not sure. Even though I was really swollen with my first, I wore my rings for quite a while - in fact I think my wedding band is a little more forgiving than my e-ring so I wore that until I couldn't and didn't buy another.
This time I have been thinking of buying a huge CZ ring
I was a knocked up college senior with Kate. I was married, though, and it actually WAS fun for me.
this!
I don't know if I will or not. I'd want something that looks like my current ring, but then again, maybe this is a good reason to get a fun different ring
hmmm I think I have a new thing to start looking at!
My MIL has a gorgeous heirloom ring amethyst ring from her grandma that is large enough to fit my puffy fingers and she said I can borrow that when my ring no longer fits
(I LOVE this ring so I am excited to jump at the chance to borrow it!)
Otherwise, I probably would buy a silver band to wear in the meantime because my finger feels naked without a ring. I'm always playing with mine with my thumb and I freak out thinking I lost them when I don't feel a ring there LOL
I agree, I don't wear my wedding ring and engagement ring anyway (the diamonds kept cutting my husband on the hand or when we were sleeping so I took them off.) But I do wear a $15 dollar band we got because the rings were not ready when we did get married. That band is getting tight and I honestly don't really care to get another one. I go to college so let people think I am a hot single momma to be I don't care, my husband knows, I know, our friends know, and our family knows why should I care what a stranger thinks?
I stopped wearing my wedding rings early on. I had recently lost a ton of weight and had my wedding rings resized. Then hit a depression when things with work went downhill and gained a lot of my weight back. My rings were already tight. After the depression I was working on losing the weight again, but it was much more difficult. I had lost about 20lbs in 6 months when I got my HPT. The bloat was horrible on my hands and my rings were super tight. I haven't been wearing my wedding rings since I was 8 weeks along.
I did switch a ring that I wore on my right hand (that wasn't resized when I lost the weight) and am now wearing it on my left hand. But it's no where close to a wedding set. I don't think many people have noticed.
