NBR: Can u think of a good person to replace Simon on AI?

in Pregnant after a Loss
DH doesn't really watch American Idol but we were trying to brainstorm someone that would be good to replace Simon after this season.  I mean, do you go with someone that can be straight forward and blunt like Simon can be (because you know some people do watch to see him be mean/honest to people) or do you go a differen route with someone that is just really credible but may not be as straight forward?  What do you think? Any ideas for a replacement?

    I am watching right now.. I just don't think anyone could replace him.. the only other person who is mean enough is Chef Ramsey from Hells Kitchen LOL

    I honestly don't see who could replace Simon...as much as I don't like him...he does make the show more interesting! I already miss Paula too..but Victoria was a fun guest judge. When is Ellen going to be judge??

    I don't think she'll be on until they get to Hollywood. So about a month or so maybe from what I hear.

    No one can replace Simon. They're going to have to take a new route. I just don't know what it is though. Rosie O'Donnell? Roseanne Barr? Ozzy?

    I think this will be the last season for AI.  Simon is bringing X Factor here from England and he will be hiring Paula Abdul to  judge with him... AI most likely will fall by the way side.

    I agree.  I think AI will try one more season and it will have such poor rating it will end up being the end of it for them.  Sad but really it is getting a little old anyway.
