Baby Center just sent me an email saying it's time when they can sit unassisted. I can't imagine putting DS in the tub yet though. I'm not ready to say good bye to the ducky tub!
We got the duck tub around 5 months and he still uses it. I don't see us changing it anytime soon. He loves the tub and there is still enough room for him to splash around. I'm grateful for not having to fill up the big tub.
We've been putting her in the regular tub since she was about 5 months. Even if she was still a bit wobbly, I held her and she did fine. At that point we didn't do any kind of extended bathub time though. (playtime in the tub, etc) It was just wash & go.
I bought one of those inflatable tubs that go in the big tub, but it hurts my back to lean over and bathe him. We're going to keep using the infant tub until he grows out of it!
I have been thinking about this because I could put them in the tub together and it would be so much easier since I wouldn't have to fill the tub and then fill it again for the next baby.
She's been in the tub for about 2 1/2 months now. We stopped using the infant tub early because she splashed a lot and made a huge mess. We just ran the water very low and of course we're right there with her. She has really enjoyed the big tub more because she can sit up and play with her toys. We've even started doing storytime in the tub because she seems so content just sitting in the bath.
I've always bathed him in the tub. Either I get in with him or he uses the tub sling. I've been bathing him unassisted since he could sit about a month ago. We found the infant tub to be a PITA.

Re: When did you start bathing LO in the tub?
My blog: Midwest Chaos
We've had him on a sling in the regular bath for at least 4 months now.
As long as he's content splashing around on his back, we won't change anything.

Confession: We still use his infant tub.
