Lurker looking for opinions for nursery idea

Hello everyone!

I have been a lurker on this site for some time, but I need to get some people's opinions on an idea...

I am going to be getting this bedding (Mosaic Transport) for our little boy on the way and I wanted a wall quote above the crib.

There are a lot of good quotes out there, but I have an idea of using a lyric from my husband and I's wedding song.

It had to be you, wonderful you!

What you do you all think?

    I like the idea of a quote, just not a fan of that particular quote.

    This. Maybe something more like "Apple of my eye, star in my sky" or "The angels danced the day you were born"

    I think it has meaning to you and if it brings you joy...then use it.  Your lil one won't be able to read, ha, so I say go for it!

    Ditto. If it holds a special meaning to you, go for it.

    I voted no just because quotes are not my style not because I didn't like the quote or didn't think it would look nice.  If you like it, who cares what we think.

    i like this.  i never thought of the quote thing.  good idea, my new project finding a quote.  our bedding is rock n roll baby by lambs and ivy so mine might be a little tough.

    I like the idea of using a quote above the bed, but I'm just not a fan of that one.  Its nice that it has sentimental value to you--I just think its a bit sappy.  But all that matters is that you love it!

    We're actually doing a quote too.  We have a cowboy theme and I think I'm going with "boots, chaps and cowboy hats...that's what little boys are made of."
