Around 2 y/o, but neither Erin nor Connor were PT until after their 3rd bdays. FWIW, we didn't really use the whole potty set up. Erin probably used it twice, then skipped to the seat that sits on top of the toilet. That's the only set up that we used with Connor.
We are buying DS one next month. We want to have it in case he shows any interest (and they are on sale, lol).
If he doesn't bring it up, we will probably introduce it to him when he is 2 by the way of stories and such. No formal introduction until he is much older, though. We don't want to push him.

dd got a potty for her 1st bday. we started taking her to the potty just to sit on it when we went at 14ish months b/c she was following us in there anyway. she's 16 months now and we've gone 1 week and 3 days without any accidents during the day (she still uses diapers for naps and bedtime but wakes up dry about 50% of the time). i think we'll be fully potty trained by 2 at the latest.
dd was interested in it and we didn't force her on it or anything. we'd sit her there, if she got up whatever, if she peed/pooped we'd cheer. now she says "mama...peeeepeeeep" - we're not pushing her hard core or anything, but i'll be glad when i don't have to wash diapers anymore

I bought it for DS for Christmas. We've introduced it, DS just sits on it for now, but he is starting to hide when he takes a poo, so I am going to try to show him the concept of it more often.

We got one when DD was 14 months old. She wasn't supper interested in it but it was handed down to us so it sat in the bathroom. She uses it all the time now. But I think it helps that her 3 year old cousin was learning to use the potty so she wanted to use it too.
Several weeks ago DD had some severe staph infections in her diaper area, so her pedi recommended we PT her ASAP, because otherwise there's not much we can do to keep them from recurring (as long as she's in diapers).
She's already pooped & pee'd on the potty, with me holding her there, so we went ahead & got her little potty Saturday. Still haven't set it up though, LOL.
With her being so young, I kinda expect PT to take a long time, but we'll see.

We just introduced it because DD was interested in the potty and starting to become aware of wet and dirty diapers.
It's there if she wants to sit on it, but we're not actively potty training yet. She did pee in it for the first time yesterday!
