Does anyone have a Brita?

I'm going to be running errands soon and was thinking of picking up a Brita water filter/pitcher. I'm sick of buying jugs of water or bottled water. I like bottled water for when people come over but I hate having the bottles around the house.  Just wondering if anyone has one and likes it..TIA!

Re: Does anyone have a Brita?

  • I had a brita water jug for the longest time. The replacement filters are somewhat expensive & I think my "timer" went out on mine. You have to reset it each time you use a new filter & I would look & it's still stuck on "new". They have the ones for your faucets too.

  • I have one and LOVE it!  We have had it for about 7 years now.  If you have a membership to Costco....I know they sell the filters there...so that helps with the cost.

  • We've had one for a long time & love it. The filters are expensive, but they're cheaper than bottled water & better for the environment. Also, we buy our filters in bulk at Costco, which is usually cheaper & they have coupons every couple of months.

This.  I think all of the membership warehouses sell the filters in bulk!

  • I have one and love it! My dad got it for me when I was in college because I hated the water in the college and felt better drinking it if it was filtered. I drink water like its my job. It really does help the water! Go for it!

  • I've used one since I was in college and they are great.  For a short time I tried the faucet version, but it reduced the water flow too much for washing dishes.

  • I have had a Brita for about 5 yrs now. The filters are not that expensive 6-7$ a peice and they last you 3 months. you will definately save money instead of the bottled/jug water
  • We have one- I'd love to get one for my faucet but first I need a new faucet.  For now though the brita pitcher works well.
Surprise BFP after 5 yrs of TTC
