Anyone use these or plan to use them?

I like them, but I'd rather make them than pay for the expensive pre-made ones. They look like they'd be really easy to make a pattern for since I cannot find one in the fabric stores or online. What are your thoughts on these? Safer than original bumpers or no difference in safety?
Re: Wonder Bumpers
Thanks! I'll look into that. I know my MIL and mom are each making a bedset for the nursery (DH has gone nuts and requested 3 sets. Yikes!), so a breathable one might be a good alternative. Thanks again!
They are sooo cute and I think they would be safer then bumpers.
I would measure the width of the bars and add 3/4 inch. I would thne measure the length and add 3/4 inch. Then measure out the fabric. Measure out the same of quilting. Then sew right sides together. Leave top and bottom unsewn. Then once turning inside out close the upper and lower seams by adding elastic with very light tension on the inside. Add add velco down each side of the length.
Hope this makes sense. Happy sewing!
