Sippys taste like soap!

How do you keep yours from tasting like dish soap.  I rinse and rinse like crazy with super hot water, yet every time I taste the water from DD's sippy, it tastes like our dish soap.  (It's the Dawn with Olay, which I love b/c it doesn't dry our hands so much...but they don't have an unscented version-yet!)

I also notice this with her dishes, eating utensils, etc.  I tried rinsing them under hot water the whole time I was washing the rest of my dishes last night.  Don't know if that made a difference, but seems like a waste of water!

    try using a vinegar/ hot water wash on everything and letting it soak for awhile.  That should cut the soap taste.

    I spray with the sink hose until all of the bubbles come off and I smell them to make sure they don't smell like soap.
