Max is sick, but his sleep habits are driving me crazy. He keeps standing up in his crib and getting stuck. Then he screams his head off until I pick him up. His sleep is so off. He should be asleep right now, it's naptime for crying out loud (no pun intended). I am letting him fuss for awhile. Then going in there and lying him down, without saying a word. It feels so mean to me, but something has got.to.give. I think it is time for Ferber. Blarg.

I must have a top sheet! I can't stand touching the underside of the bedspread! I like the idea of a duvet cover made of sheets, though, but I'd still want a top sheet. Often, I use only the top sheet, esp in summer. And I have to have it tucked in at the bottom. One of my biggest peeves is if my feet get out from the bottom of the sheets. So funny how opposite people can be! Luckily, DH doesn't care either way.

I don't want to move and we are at the end of this month. It's not that I don't love the place we are moving to ... I just don't want to pack! I hate packing and unpacking and moving all the boxes.

I'm with you on packing and unpacking (esp unpacking). I moved like 7x in 7 years. A new place is always nice, but the packing/unpacking stinks!

Ok well most of you have probably read on my FB that my Grandma is dying. It has been a long time coming when she had a stroke 4 years ago. I am truly sad, and emotional.

I'm so sorry you are going through this! When I lost my grandma (with whom I was very close) 10 yrs ago, it was stressful and emotional. Lots of hugs!

I do, too, but for different reasons.

DH is a TOTAL cover hog. He pulls them all onto himself then gets too hot, flings them off, then lays on top of the newly flung covers.

That leaves me with nothing to keep me warm except cats and the top sheet.

So I like the top sheet.

My confessions:

I've been watching Tori & Dean since I woke up today. I never watched 90210 and I never liked Tori Spelling, back in the day. But I've been watching their show for a few seasons and I really like it. I kinda want to read her book, Mommywood.

There's a Bumpie that posts on a few national boards, incl one where I used to post, and I just don't think she's a good person. I judge her pretty harshly. I lurk on one board, sometimes, just to see if she posts. And I'm always super irritated when she does, so I need to stop.

I think we should probably start taking down Xmas decor and it makes me sad. I asked DH if he'd care if the tree was up all year. He said it would be ok and maybe we can change it up for each holiday. haha

DH has been a bit of a grouch this week. I know he is stressed about his Academy testing tomorrow but between his stressing and Carter being sick, we are having little tifts about the stupidest stuff. We've never done this before and it's testing my limits.

I had a really bad day yesterday and hurt my back. I broke down stole one of DH's "hanging out with the boys" cigarettes and smoked for the first time since I found out I was pg. I hate that I did it but at the time seemed like my only option to cool down.

We have a full weekend of stuff to do and I don't want to do any of it. I would rather focus on looking for a place to buy but alas, I can't cancel on my commitments I made months ago.

I confess that our washing machine decided to die the day we came home from the hospital. They are fixing it now, but I have been wearing the same nursing tank and two pairs of sweats since last Tuesday. Nothing else fits and is comfy. Not cool right after giving birth. At least I have enough undies that still fit.

I'm not sure who that is, but the name doesn't start with a T. I don't feel like I should use the name, in case it's ever searched. It's no one local or on any Seattle boards. I know there are a lot of annoying Bumpies on the nat'l boards, but this one just really gets to me. Maybe I shouldn't have said anything...

T_ is on the tri boards, I think. She's super annoying and a little scary.

If it makes you feel any better, H, there are a couple of nat'l board posters that I dislike so much that I will leave until their posts are on the second page before coming back to read other posts. I really wish the nest still had their block function.

We did IVF in July and are STILL receiving bills..and what's worse is DH's insurance was supposed to cover 10K for IF coverage..so we shouldn't be billed for any of it. I already had to pay a $400 bill for anethesia and today got another bill for $500 for some diff aspects of the IVF procedure. Luckily I called and she said it MAY be a computer glitch. So hopefully this gets squared away..insurance and medical bills are such a nightmare..sigh...on the plus side I just remember I'm growing a healthy baby boy and he is worth EVERY penny!!
