Trader Joe's recommendations?

We are going to be out near a Trader Joe's tomorrow and I am hoping to find some new food there for DS.  I feel like I offer him the same old stuff all the time.  What do they carry that your DC loves?  So far I've only heard that their freeze dried fruit is good.  Thanks for your help!

Re: Trader Joe's recommendations?

  • I always get keifer, frozen organic fruits and veggies to have on hand, meatless "meats", cheese and fresh fruits and veggies. Oh and trader joes version of Pirates Booty. DD loves that stuff!

  • trader joes turkey meatballs are one of the only meats DS will eat.  dried cherries are also a fave of his, although you can get those anywhere.

  • I was JUST ABOUT to pimp the turkey meatballs, they are REALLY good!

Mushroom rissotto, cheese souffle, pizza dough and pizza sauce. Those are the big faves. But Gigantor will eat anything. Even shoes and socks.

  • I have to 3rd those turkey meatballs!  They are surprisingly good!
  • Sarah's absolute favorite meal is the frozen bag of gorgonzola gnocchi.  She'll eat almost a whole bag on her own!  We all like the orange chicken (frozen).  Sarah's not a huge fan of the sauce so I make a few of the "nuggets" without it.  Their frozen potstickers are good too.

    Lilypie Fourth Birthday tickers
  • Dried strawberries are a fav.

Dried green beans, yogurt cheese, bohl kogi (sp?) beef is the best.

The TJ cheerios, the "This apple walked into a bar' snack bars. Hmm...
