2nd Trimester

2nd timers and 2 u 2 moms

what stroller are you getting? I have done so much research and still cant figure it out. I have looked on 2u2 board too, but anyone have a recommendation?? I want a tandem, not a phil and ted, and to be able to put the infant seat in it. I love the baby jogger city select-but its SO expensive.

Re: 2nd timers and 2 u 2 moms

  • We are leaning towards the Kolcraft Contours Tandum stroller.  We have heard good things about it and I like that our Graco seat will fit in it.  We tested it in the store the other day and it is a big stroller, but I guess it comes with the territory.

Also, I just found out that they came out with the Kolcraft Tandem II that resolves a lot of the issues that people had with the first one!  It only comes in 1 color.  This is what I'm leaning towards for the price and versitility alone.

  • Mine will be about 27mo apart.  I've been having the debate over a double or sit and stand.  Right now, I'm leaning toward the Joovy Ergo Caboose.

I think my DD is too young now for the sit and stand. But by the time the babe arrives and she has the front seat for ~7mo while babe is in the carrier, she'll be almost 3 and ready for the back seat and stand platform.  I'm still not sold but so far that's my train of thought.

  • Mrs.Jenni, I know this isn't that much cheaper, and you also live in NJ, but check this out.

No problem. I also love the Bumbleride, but even with family help it's just too much for us.

I know what you mean.  My mom is giving me $250 towards our stroller and I'm tempted to just get the Kolcraft so I don't have to spend ANY money on it!

I thought that's what DH would want to do when I told him we were getting money towards the stroller, but luckily he's okay with going for the better option. I know DD won't want to be in a stroller forever, but I think for vacations and stuff where there will be more walking it will last a long time.
