totally an AW post. I read that anything less than an hour nap is not restorative, so people had said to just leave the baby in the crib if they started getting fussy before an hour and they'd eventually go back to napping. of course, if they started crying/screaming, I'd go get them. That happened the first 2 days. But-knock on wood-for the past 4 or 5 days, they have been taking hour-long naps 2x a day. Most times for longer than 1 hour. I set the sound machine timer for an hour and when it goes off, I can tell they've slept "long enough". Today, it went off about 40 minutes ago and they're still sleeping. Snoring! OMG. The heavens have opened up and given me hope!

Re: my children are still napping!
You suck.
But I'm happy for you I guess.
(In other words...better not see any of those posts about video games!)
I am still SHOCKED at the word I played w/ you last night. I feel so dirty, I had to take a shower. DIRTY!!! Icky icky ick!.
And thanks, I'm very happy for me. More time to play around on the interwebs.
oh. uh. disregard my last post to amy! hahaha!
I'm still shocked too, you dirty girl. But we both snickered at PENAL, so I suppose we both have a little 14 year old boy in us
Oh, and can you teach E how to nap? Or can I just bring him over? How much harder can three be when you already have two.
Yay! Glad it worked. I did this with Leo when he was younger and he still naps really well now
*knocks on wood*
true true, bring him on down. the boys would love a playmate.
Whoo-hoo!
