i just looked it up on Amazon, and was wondering - what is the difference between the original and 123 for christian parents, 123 for teachers, etc??
Mom to 2 beautiful girls, 3 yrs and 22 months old. My 2nd was born at 32 weeks due to Rhogam failure/severe complications from Rh disease and is our miracle. She has bilateral auditory neuropathy and a cochlear implant, activated 4/5/2012 at 19 months. Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    I know nothing of the Christian one. 

     This is the one I use

    I imagine "for teachers" is used for a group as opposed to an individual.

    The one I posted (red cover) mentions nothing of religion. It is just a simple way to keep a calm house and raise happy kids who know how to behave properly.

    I took 2 days to start working for us. It is so easy to follow you can get started on the basics after the short first chapter! I love that it removes the emotion from discipline. I never wanted to be a screaming parent and I was turning into one, which made me angry and the kids rebel and DH unhappy.

    I am a behavior therapist and highly reccomend this book, I read it and teach a lot of parents the same basic principles. People are always amazed that when trying to get DD to do something if I simply say 1 it is done.

    what age did you start using it? remember that hannah and julia are the same age.

    20 months for Caroline. So you have a little while. You can start to apply some of the ideas though. The philosophy helps you to remove the emotion from it and that can start now. It will teach you how to start the process. We did start with short modified TO at 1. It was 1 minute to remove from the undesirable behavior and regroup.

    I got it from our library... the only had the DVD.. which was totally a VHS turned DVD by the company... think 1990esque.  But the concept was really pretty easy to pick up.

    DD likes to stand on her chair... I can count to 1 and she plops down. I like some of the concepts.
