All this kitchen talk is NOT helping. I desperately want to paint my cabinets and counters right.this.second.

    sorry dude.  we spent most of our lives pre-kid rehabbing 2 homes in a historic district, including modernizing kitchens.  i am completely renovated out.  :)  i can pass you some of my kitchen apathy if you want?

    lol. i <3 our kitchen, but i also love the idea of buyig a house that needs some tlc and renovating it. problem is i'll want to do everything asap... and we have no $ for that!

    I have no desire to redo the whole space.... just a couple coats of paint and a new microwave.

     

    And maybe new floors for the entire house.

    oh girl we're in desperate need of new floors. when we bought the developer was a huge crook and had the floors re-finished although all the contractors said they shouldn't be done again as they were too thin. developer said he didn't care if they fell apart the day after it sold, just do it. i know this b/c the contractor since apologized to me about it. anyway they are totally falling apart. a huge chunk of wood broke off the day before yesterday. i'm so pissed.
