Hang in there and tell DH to hang in there. It wasn't really his fault just a freak accident. I'd be p*sssssed too at first but try not to take it out on your DH (not saying you were/ are) It's just I'm sure he's a mess over this and thinks he's failed as a daddy... i know my DH would... Prayers go out to you and your family and I hope Caleb starts feeling better soon and recovers quickly! Poor little thing. Sorry to hear this. Take care and God bless!

I remember you judochop, and I'm so sorry that happened to Caleb! FWIW, my Dad did the same thing to my brother (except on a sliding board) at that age and 30 years later still no problems. Huge hugs to you all.

I am thinking of you and your little guy. I broke my femur when I was 6 months old and my mom said she was torn up about it too. Accidents happen with the best of parents. I pray he has a healthy and speedy recovery! Hugs!
