My DH had an accident with Caleb this morning, as he was sitting down in the glider to feed him, C's leg got caught in his robe, Twisting his leg and causing his femur to break. We immediately took him to the ER. We are finally settled in a hospital room and Caleb is in traction and tomorrow he will have anaesthetic so they can set his leg and put on a cast. I am so upset, scared, tired, worried. Caleb is napping now and the nurses are managing his pain with morphine.
I'm not a prolific poster on here, but I lurk every day and I feel like you guys are my friends-in-mommyhood. Please pray for Caleb. I can't believe an accident like this happened to us.

T&P
Oh my goodness! I am so sorry. Poor little guy! But you know what? He won't remember any of this or the pain in a little while. Only you and DH will (which is horrible, I know).
We will always be here for you! I'm asking that God relieves his pain and gives him a super fast recovery. If you need anything, let us know and please keep us updated!
I'm saying a prayer for your little guy right now. I'm so sorry that this happened to him! Poor him and poor you! Your poor DH too
He will be fine, though. I used to nanny a little girl who broke her leg at 10 months and it was healed within two weeks. She was totally not bothered at all by the cast and was still able to crawl around and everything with it on. Babies heal really well from this kind of thing.
T&P for you!
