DD only wants to wear dresses. Ever. Anyone else?

My options are to either:

A. Figure out a way for her to wear a dress in freezing, snowy weather (leggings or sweater tights)

or

B. Fight it out

every single morning. She wears dresses pretty much every day. The same 4 or 5, since she only has a few that are appropriate in any way for winter and daycare.

Anyone else? I am just mystified - I was such a tomboy growing up this is a new world to me.

    S will only wear dresses. forget jeans or pants.  after much fighting she has now been convinced that she MUST wear leggings if she wants to wear a dress. It's too freaking cold out for her not to! 

    and yes---I don't know how I got such a girlie girl! LOL

    leggings and leg warmers is Emilia's everyday.

    this is pretty much her everyday dress right now in like 10 colors and she throws on her leggings and leg warmers.

    DD likes to wear dresses a lot lately too, but wants to wear them w/pants.  So we do lots of leggings with dresses.  Really cold days I throw her babylegs on over the leggings, socks/winter boots.

    Right there with ya!  DD will only wear dress or skirts.  We either wears tights or leggings under them.  She cries at the mere mention of jeans!  :)

    Audrey is the same way. When it's really cold, she will tights and leggings. She usually will just wear leggings though.

    DD#1 was like that last year.  She's mostly out-grown it, though she still prefers dresses if given the choice.  We live in Texas so it's not as big of a deal.  We went with leggings and/or tights and just insist on pants/sweat suits when it's really cold.  I stocked up on warmer play dresses from Target, TCP and assorted other places when there were sales.

    My middle DD is the same way.  We buy lots of leggings.

    I love putting DD in dresses she wears them most days.  So much easier then pants and a shirt.  I just put tights on her under her dress.
