Wdyt of Evelyn? Cute? Too old lady? Is it getting too popular? Any good one syllable middle name suggestions?

Marie

Lou

Tea'

Grace

Not sure if I would limit myself to one syllable middle names though.

Autumn would be pretty and it is not one syllable. So would Ainsley, Paige, Sophie, Josphine and many more depending on your last name.

We are Team Green with twins who are coming in 10 days. We need 4 names. The only name we agree on is Evelyn Grace. I think its pretty, feminine and classic while my DH likes only traditional, old fashioned names. I keep reading how its popular, but I've never met an Evelyn IRL.

Love it. I do think it's growing in popularity, but all old fashioned names seem to be. I don't see Evelyn being, say, the next Madison. It's a classic, pretty name.

Obviously, I love Evelyn (we have an Evelyn Sophia). It is getting more popular on the charts, but I've only run into one other Evelyn. (Charlotte is less popular in the SS name list, but we run into tons of little Charlottes for whatever reason).

Let me tell you a story about the name Evelyn.

My mother's best friend's daughter just named her daughter Evelyn. When my mother heard that, she was totally disgusted. She send my sister and me an email saying...

"EVELYN! What is she, some old man's girlfriend? And then people are going to call her Eve, like the douche. That's what Evelyn is: old slut for old men or douche."

We thought it was hilarious.
