Last time I stripped CD's I put diapers in the washer (I did all this at the laundromat BTW) with 1 tsp. Blue Dawn, 2 tsp. of my normal detergent, 1/4 c. of bleach and sprinkled the RLR over the diapers. Also, I had the diapers separated between two washers.....one pockets, and one inserts. Then I washed several times on hot, then switched to warm water for the rest of the wash cycles until there were no suds left. It took me 8/10 washes respectively for each I believe (but I was dealing with some major ammonia issues and penile irritations that turned out that were from the MF which we've switched from as well).
My diapers weren't too bad. I just washed all my dipes as usual (cold wash, then hot wash with extra cold rinse). Then I did another full hot wash with a teeny tiny amount of detergent and sprinkled the RLR directly on my dipes. It worked quite nicely.

Thanks a bunch! I can't wait to get back home (we're visiting with the Inlaw's this weekend) and fix his diapers. As soon as he wets them, they STINK like ammonia. It's awful.
Sapph- I can't even imagine what that cost you to do all those washes! I know laundromat's are NOT cheap... we have to use one every once in a while when the laundry piles up and don't feel like spending 12 hours at my parent's house doing it. hah.

It was something around the $70 mark. But, I'd do it again if I had to for his skin. I hate seeing him in pain for diaper changes and that broke my heart when we had the ammonia problems because they just got worse and worse until I did that stripping. He hasn't had issues with his diapers since. It's when I have to put him in sposies that his skin starts acting up again.
