So last night I made a post so people could ask those questions they always want to know about us lesbians but didn't have any one to ask. Well here I am, Ask away. Nothing is off limits in this crowd.

Re: Ask a Lesbian-Part II
OK, so here's my question about sex. I know that penetration can be a sensitive issue and some are hardcore against it. Why?
ETA: or is there any rhyme or reason to one's feelings about it? More butch women agasist it, etc?
when i see lesbians on the street holding hands. in my head i think 'awww thats sweet'. but i know i'm the miniority in that aspect.
how do you handle the 'whispers' when you're out in public?
does this sway your stance on PDA any?
I think it depends on the person you ask. I know some lesbians who would never ever buy a :ahem: strap on and some who are open to the idea. Just preference I guess..
Good question!
I know your siggy says no, but are you SURE we can't watch?
When DW and I first were together * we were both each others first serious girlfriend* she hatred the stares and whispers. So for a while we didnt hold hands any where we went. It made me sad but I also know that is the way the world works. Now when we go out we hold hands, I kiss her and hug her as I please and when someone looks * and to be honest its usually older people* I ask them " Do you have a problem? or is there something I can help you with? and they usually stop.
Okay, so say you're at a bar and see an attractive lady you would like to get to know better but you're not sure they're a lesbian. Do you just, like, start talking to her and try to feel it out? Is there a secret handshake?
ETA: I use the word "you" generally. I know you obviously aren't out trying to meet people.
We charge for this sort of thing
do straight girls that make out with other straight girls just to get attention piss you off?
We actually have a card we flash to hot girls when they come into a room. If they give us a crazy look, we know they are straight. Joking..
Anyway, I have never had this problem because I like " butch" girls and you can always tell that they are lesbian. DW said she had this problem when she was in high school but that she would start talking to them and then feel it out.
Nice to "meet" you too!!
i was going to ask what you're 'type was'. lipstick lesbian and all?
I have a My Little Pony. Will that work?
Preference. Even tho DW dresses in men's clothes, has shortish hair and would never be caught in a dress, heels, or makeup I love her like that. Plus its just hot! I dont know if that answerers your question but I hope it did.
Yes. Very much so
I think lots of girl who are lipstick or not even gay at all are hot! I would just never date one.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Pay Pal, Cash or check
why?
have you ever slept with men?
what is it about girls that does it for you more than men?
Im not sure, just what I like.
Darn. All I have is my pony and my Diner's Card.
::runs off to cry::
Yes, ive slept with men. I dated lots of guys in high school and out of high school. In fact when I met DW I was dating a boy.
Women understand and know what each other want and need. She knows that when im sad or upset that all I really need is a hug and to cuddle and vis a versa.
As much as it sounds like a possibility, it would never happen.
Not silly! To be honest, DW and I just started watched it when it comes on LOGO. I think it is sort of like Sex in the City, a glamorized version of what people think its like. The girls in that show also have sex ALOT, im not sure about others but we deff. dont hump like rabbits every other hour. The first time we watched it I told DW " They are ALWAYS having sex!"
As far as a group of lesbians all dating eachother, sort of true.
I have the first season on dvd just to see Shane. She is gorgeous.
Ok newbie asking a question:
Silly but a question..your first experience with a woman, nervous? excited? forseeable? surprise? the next day was it excitement, guilt or other?
Im glad someone asked this! I was going to comment on my other post but decided not to. In MY opinion, I think its a cop out. I feel like you say you are Bi when you dont know what you are. When I first started messing around with girls I told people I was bi and when I first was with DW I told people I was bi. A friend told me one day " You will wake up one morning and know if you are lesbian or not" and she was right. I dont hate them but I dislike the way the term is thrown around.
It was just like the first time you had sex with a man. Except we didn't use a condom
See, this is how i feel. Did i enjoy making out with chicks, yes i did. but in my opinion that doesnt' make me bi or a lesbian.
i think being bi and the way its used so freely is a cop out. but thats just my opinion.
i used the term dental damn infront of my bosses boss the other day. he turned red. it was funny.
I agree with you!
See, I don't know what to call myself. I've been with several girls, never in a relationship, but only sexually. I am currently happily married to a man, but definitely have sexual attraction at times to women. What does this make me? Just a normal person? Bisexual?
i think that makes you normal. i've been sexually attracted to several woman, and had several sexual encounters with woman. but all of my lasting and healthy relationships have been with men. I find my self more 'at peace' with a man than i think i could ever find with a woman.
I feel the same. But sometimes it's an overwhelming urge to be with them! Sexually. Emotionally... I don't find any connection with women (more than a friendship). But sexually, damn straight there is a connection! So I guess it's just confusing. In the end, a marriage is much more about emotions than sex, so a marriage for me is with a man.
Perhaps that's why it's called "bisexual"? Because sexually, you could go either way? For some reason, though, women experimenting with other women is definitely more acceptable than men experimenting with men. A woman can be called bisexual a lot easier than a man. Many people think - if you're a dude and you'll be with a dude- you're gay.
