not a good way to start the new year...waiting for my midwife to call back.

warning: may be a bit gross...

i woke up this morning with bad stomach pains/cramps.  pretty consistent, every 10 minutes for the past 2 1/2 hrs. (i have a lot of bh-irritable uterus, so i don't get too freaked out about a lot of contractions).  these felt different though.  i did go to the bathroom and was thinking maybe just something i ate last night...i decided to have a piece of plain toast and after 2 bites, i ran to the bathroom and projectile vomited about 1/2 gallon of water.  it just kept going.   so, i called my ob's office.  has anything like that happened to any of you?

    i've had a few episodes that sound similar.  i have been constipated throughout almost this entire pregnancy and a couple of times it's caused this severe stomach cramping/vomiting combination.  Definitely not fun, but I hope that's all it is!

    Oh no! I haven't had anything like that but if she is taking to long to call back call L&D (if your gonna be at a hospital). They can help you determine if you need to come in! Hope everything is ok!

    I just got over this a few days ago. It lasted about 24 hours for me. But everytime I drank water which I felt like I had to just keep drinking water I would projectile vomit every last sip. It was the worse I think I have ever felt. I am sorry that you are having to deal with this but it doesn't last forever, which is good. Feel better soon!

    she did call back...waited an hour to see if i could keep water or toast down.  so far so good, but the stomach cramps are pretty bad, so i think she wants me to come in...i just want to go to sleep, but i think i'll go take a shower and see what happens...i may just go in.  i'll update later.  thanks girls. i feel like it's a bug, i feel like crap.

    I haven't had it, but im really sorry you do. Being sick in ANYWAY sucks big time. i hope the Doc calls you back soon. =)
